The Osbourne Hotel was one of the first hotels in Brisbane back in the 1800s and has loads of history and wonderful memories for those who have visited over the years.
Cathi Meredith publisher of Ladies in RACING Magazine had a lovely evening last Wednesday at the launch of the fresh look Osbourne Hotel.
Cathi said “What an amazing hotel, the décor is stunning and this is the perfect venue for any occasion, great for dinners and long lunches and the bespoke function rooms upstairs are perfect for private board meetings, small conferences or special occasion events. It is and interesting layout, with all the different areas available to cater for everyone, and I wish I only lived five minutes away so I could make it my local. The beers on tap certainly got my husband excited and we will be going back for long Sunday lunch soon. I have to say that I think it has one of the most beautiful bars and beer gardens in Brisbane.”
The hotel has been stripped back to the buildings original colours and brick foundations, paying homage to its past heritage. No words do justice to the stunning beer garden, the vaulted glass roof and lush plants make for an amazing alfresco area with a capacity of up to 400. The hotel has been run by the Fitzgibbons family for 38 years.
Between the three bars at the Osbourne the 92 taps pour everything from XXXX to local craft beers and micro brews, there is also a boutique wine list. The Osborne Hotel is located on Ann Street Brisbane.
